  • Required Qualifications:
    • Passionate about leading change to drive value and lower costs in US Healthcare
    • In an MBA program; expected graduation date of December 2019 or May 2020
    • 1-3 years working in business development, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or management consulting
    • Experience in market/competitive assessments, financial modeling, business plan development, and customer/client sales presentations
    • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
    • Ability to travel (~ 30%)
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with episodic bundled payments and/or value-based care reimbursement health care programs
    • Experience in a strategic or financial role with healthcare providers or payors
    • Experience analyzing medical claims data
    • Proven ability to effectively present information to top management and/or public groups
    • Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead market research to identify and assess potential revenue growth and strategic partnership opportunities within the context of episodic bundled payments and value-based reimbursement programs 
  • Conduct market landscape and competitive positioning assessments using qualitative or quantitative approaches to identify and assess new business development and partnership opportunities
  • Perform well structured financial analyses to assess feasibility of identified potential growth opportunities
  • Summarize and prepare recommendations to inform strategy development and execution within new customer development, product development, partnerships and acquisitions, financial and operational planning, and government policies and programs.
  • Establishes databases of pertinent information across the provider, payer, and value-based care landscape for use in analyzing market trends, competitor positioning, and revenue growth opportunities
  • Support the development and management of financial and operational reporting, forecasts, and strategy development
  • Perform special studies and develop data and information, assessment and recommendations as requested
  • Other duties as assigned
