CSAA Insurance Group is looking for a student to join our Corporate Venture Capital team for a 10 week paid summer internship.Our ideal candidate is a high-energy, high-impact student who has the ability to build strong rapport with startups, venture capitalists and internal product groups. He/she will evaluate emerging business technologies and opportunities in support of our strategic growth objectivesWhat You’ll Do
- Research startup landscape through research and interviews with startups and key industry participants in key Corporate Venture focus areas
- Analyze market trends and identify disruptive players
- Create case studies and strategic fit value propositions
- Conduct portfolio analysis
- Define key technology levers as they relate to business and disruptive technology value chains
Who We’re Looking For
- MBA candidate
- Pre-MBA experience in venture capital, strategy consulting or technology product marketing/management preferred
- Technology/engineering undergrad
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong written or verbal communication skills. Able to influence and effectively manage multiple projects
- Strong financial/business modeling and analytical skills
- GPA of 3.0 or better
