Executive Director / Managing Director in Fosun Group New Retail Strategic Investment Division
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and sourcing potential investment opportunities, both within China and cross-border. Investment opportunities cover both venture and buyout/large transaction opportunities
- Driving the complete transaction cycle: execution, design and recommend effective and efficient deal and capital structure, negotiations with partners/sellers and transaction closings
- Developing a network of relationship with various stakeholders in China/abroad in order to source credible transactions
- Active monitoring and surveillance of industry developments in China New consumer/retail markets
- Developing a strong knowledge of key players in the retail/consumer markets in China
- Promoting Fosun’s New Retail strategy and positioning of the company to potential stakeholders
- Acting as part of a team in developing an investment/sourcing strategy
- Provide mentorship and training for junior team members
Requirement:
- Extensive knowledge and network in China’s retail/consumer market and the various stakeholders
- Minimum of 8 years working experiences in retail/consumer industry
- Prefer candidates with experience in buyouts or large acquisition transactions, gained either in a PE Fund or corporate M&A environment
- Solid transaction management skills and experiences is crucial
- Experience in developing or ability to develop further network in the retail/consumer industry in China and globally
