1ST SHIFT (United States of America)
SUMMARY: Responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategies and processes for Tyson Ventures. The Finance Director will be responsible for all finance accounting tax portfolio valuation financial and investor reporting as it pertains to Ventures. Provide functional leadership and SME to support deal valuation portfolio performance evaluation and annual budgeting for the group.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree and MBA or other advanced degree required.

Experience: Combined 8 years of experience with at least 2 as a Director level of Finance in corporate environment or Senior Associate Vice President in a private equity hedge fund or venture capital firm with direct experience working with limited partner’s capital calls waterfall calculations fund distributions etc. Demonstrated experience working across all stages of deal development and across a spectrum of deal constructs is required. Significant knowledge of and direct experience in the food sector — branded retail foodservice and commodity as well as food or agricultural-related tech strongly desired. Experience must include exposure to corporate finance as this position will be responsible for integrating Ventures financial activity into Tyson Foods.

Computer Skills: MS Office excellent at Excel predictive modeling and simulation software.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences and making presentations in order to drive business decisions. Confident and able to be influential and assertive. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex.

Travel: 50 or greater
