The Intel Capital (LinkedIn, Crunchbase) Investment Director is part of a small team who finds, develop, define, and close equity investments and acquisitions in order to meet strategic needs and objectives of various technology sectors within Intel Capital.In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identifying and screening potential deals and equity investments
- Advising management about the merits of potential deals
- Obtaining internal agreement on negotiating positions and strategies
- ensuring that the terms of any deal make business sense for Intel
- Acting as part of the external negotiating team
- Responsibility for deals from initiation through closing, and post-closing monitoring
- Developing and negotiating contracts involving intellectual property
- Involvement in a high degree of interaction with organizations outside the company at the executive level
Qualifications
Must have
- M.B.A. or equivalent degree in Finance or Corporate Law with a minimum of five years of experience in the Venture Capital or Private Equity industry, with direct experience of deal structuring and negotiating
- Strong understanding of content and service business models
- Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Strong networking, negotiating and marketing skills
- Experience developing and/or negotiating contracts involving software, content and/or services
- The position will be based in Berlin, Germany – although extensive travel will be required throughout Europe, US and Israel
Nice to have
- A Master of Science degree or a Ph.D. in a technological field with a minimum of five years of experience in the Information Technology IT industry, in Corporate Business Development and/or Venture capital or an M.B.A. or equivalent
