Investment Director (m / f) High-tech start-ups
For our team, we are looking for an investment director (m / f) for hardware or software start-ups in full-time at the Bonn location as an opportunity to actively contribute to the sustainable success of the HTGF portfolio with a focus on IoT, Printing, mechanical engineering, industrial software and semiconductor or software, IT, e-commerce, FinTech, big data, IT security and telecommunications.
Your tasks:
- Self-responsible acquisition, value development and sale of companies of their own portfolio
- Exercise of the shareholders’ rights of the fund, among other things, on advisory and supervisory board mandates
- Technical leadership of colleagues in the sourcing and the valuable development of their portfolios
- Involvement of new colleagues in investment management
- Representation of the fund in the seed market in front of entrepreneurs, investors and industry
- Takeover of conceptual and strategic projects of the fund
Your profile:
- Completed technical or natural sciences studies and a deep understanding of business-related topics
- Extensive transaction experience as a lead investor in the venture capital market as well as typically exit experience
- Management experience in a start-up
- High professional competence in your technology field as well as demonstrable business management experience
- Relevant network in the industry and VC industry
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
