Mission of the Cargo
- Support the implementation of Elsys’ diversification strategy by identifying investment or acquisition opportunities in the market that bring innovation to current business. Properly structure the selected transactions in order to materialize the investments.
Activities
- Broadly and actively connect with venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators and startups to establish and maintain good relationships
- Monitor the ecosystem, seeking to identify potential investment or acquisition targets
- Structure the discussion with the New Business area to evaluate the opportunities, investment thesis, risks involved and the proper structure of each transaction
- Assembling of financial projection and valuation models, with scenario simulation and return calculations
- Elaboration of recommendations based on the results of the analyzes
- Monitoring and organizing the information flow during the acquisition process to ensure security in the transaction
- Support the preparation of the necessary documents and contracts for the transactions, to reflect the negotiations carried out
