• 1-3 years of venture capital, private equity, management consulting, or investment banking experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Associate, you will be an integral member of the Space Angels team, with a leading role in screening potential investments for Space Angels and its affiliate venture fund Space Capital, reporting directly to the CEO. The role will require someone well-versed in analyzing early-stage companies and nascent markets. Your responsibilities will include:
• Proactively identify and build relationships with high-potential startups and industry partners in the space industry
• Evaluate potential investments in early-stage space companies through financial due diligence, market research, technology assessment, and competitive analysis
• Assist in the preparation of fundraising documents, valuation memos, and investor updates
• Update and maintain investment roadmap, investment database, and other internal market intelligence sources to inform investment decisions and provide though leadership
• Present diligence information and investment theses to both fund investment commmittee and angel platform
• Work with portfolio companies to provide support and guidance on financial reporting, strategy, network building, and other activities to accelerate growth and performance
• Represent Space Angels in the startup and space community through attendence of seminars, conferences, and events to create a network of technology executives, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and others within the industry
