Investments
Siemens Healthineers is looking for talented individuals destined to usher in the next era of healthcare. We live in a moment of remarkable change and opportunity. The convergence of data and technology is transforming healthcare and our business in every way. This exciting opportunity will :
- Explore and analyze markets and trends in the industry
- Perform competitive analysis and identify current best practices and market leaders
- Size the existing customer market, as well as identify trends and relative positioning
- Analyze multiple start-ups to synthesize new business and tech opportunities
- Drive due diligence activities on target companies relating to target pro forma financial modeling, target pro forma capitalization table, waterfall, and investment return scenario analysis.
- Test and validate assumptions while creating a sensitivity analysis for key drivers
- Collaborate with the Strategy, Design, Product and Technology team to build viable venture and product plans
Exploration And Incubation
- Build key performance indicators for portfolio ventures
- Define the business model options and case for new ventures, products and services
- Develop the economic model and business plan for new ventures, products and services
- Assess internal/external capabilities and capacities to develop a sourcing strategy
Candidate Will Need
- 5-7+ years of experience in venture capital, technology, consulting, or other relevant fields
- A bachelor’s degree (business, economics, strategy or equivalent from a top-tier institution preferred)
- A master’s degree helpful but not preferred (postgraduate, MBA or equivalent study)
- Some experience in a start-up/consulting/private equity environment and exposure to multidisciplinary teams
- Preferred majors are Finance, Economics, Business, or other quantitative majors
- Analytical orientation with strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to learn
- Team player who possesses intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and attention to detail
