We have recently set up our Malta office and are currently seeking an experienced associate to support our fundraising and investor relations department.
Desired candidate profile
The Blockchain Fundraising Associate is a highly engaging position, and the selected candidate will be working out of our Malta office to support our global outreach and investor relationship management efforts.
We seek an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic candidate requiring minimal supervision. He/she should be a confident self-starter with excellent communication skills and the flexibility to contribute to various aspects of the business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular market research to identify changing investment trends and new opportunities
- Perform regular investor screening to evaluate suitability and compatibility of expectations
- Maintain a complete record of calls, meetings, and prospects in our CRM
- Network with peers, clients, and investors to develop long-term relationships
- Perform routine due diligence on all new opportunities
- Build a database of industry participants, existing and emerging projects and investors
- Liaison with clients and investors from a business analysis aspect to resolve any queries
- Help prepare investment memos and agreements
- Lead the investor and client relationship management efforts
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of demonstrable experience in investment management and fundraising
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and spoken)
- Strong understanding of the blockchain/crypto space and token sale dynamics
- Ability to produce Powerpoint/Keynote presentations for clients and investors
- Ability to generate leads and optimize the lead generation process
- Ability to create meaningful reports for management, clients, and investors
