VC Associate @ Greenway Capital in Kansas City, MO

Due to Greenway Capital’s continued growth, we are seeking a Venture Associate to perform in-depth research and analysis in support of strategic new business ventures. This is not a 100% heads-down financial modeling role, but you will closely interact with entrepreneurs, other investors and key opinion leaders in the market. This position reports directly to Greenway Capital’s Managing Director with the purpose of helping Greenway Capital make quality investment decisions.   This position offers a full or part-time schedule with flexible hours.

  • Focus on the firm’s long-term vision and strategic goals through research and financial analysis, including diligence, market research, competitive analysis and modeling
  • Fulfill research requests by developing and delivering clear, accurate presentations of research results, written and orally
  • Support the evaluation of potential investment opportunities through research and financial analysis and assistance with necessary documentation
  • Assist in efforts to compile and draft new venture research and other materials with advanced attention to detail


  • 3-4 years’ work experience in investment banking or private equity
  • 4 year undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, computer science or related area
  • Strong academic record
  • Ability to work beyond standard hours during busy periods to meet tight deadlines
  • 360 degree leader and accountable team player, seeking to add value and new ideas in daily work


  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with polished Excel and PowerPoint abilities
