Energy Impact Partners (LinkedIn, Crunchbase) We are seeking an associate for our New York office. The associate will work directly with an EIP Managing Director and will assist in all phases of the venture capital investment process, including:
- Source and screen prospective investments
- Review business plans
- Perform due diligence on potential investments
- Research market trends and dynamics
- Develop investment committee memorandums
- Develop financial models
- Ongoing portfolio support and administration
- Help out with firmwide on key operational activities / events / presentations
Desired Qualifications
- History of strong academic performance in a relevant field (Finance, economics, engineering)
- Passion for energy technology and growth investing (prior exposure to either a plus)
- At least two years of work experience ideally in a relevant field (e.g. investment banking, management consulting, private equity, VC etc.)
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Proficiency in excel modeling and powerpoint
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude, team player, open-minded and absolutely not ego-driven
- Strong interpersonal skills
