Founded in 1996, Albion Capital (LinkedIn, Crunchbase) is one of the leading venture capital investors in the UK, with approximately £500m of venture capital funds under management/administration (total £1bn funds across the wider Albion group).
In our venture team we invest from seed through to Series B in high growth companies, predominantly in the UK. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to help the tech investment team source and execute investments and manage the existing portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead origination
- develop investment theses, create market maps, lead company outreach
- represent Albion at industry conferences and networking events
- build strategic relationships within the innovation ecosystem
- identify trends and create content, including blogging
- Assist with deal execution
- participate in company pitches and deal reviews
- negotiate terms
- support due diligence (market sizing and mapping, competitive positioning, customer and management referencing, financial modelling, tech architecture reviews)
- Assist with portfolio management
- board engagements

Profile
- 5 years or more experience in a tech company, VC, consulting firm or bank
- top tier academic track record
- outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
