West Virginia Jobs Investment Trust Board – Investment Analyst: The State of West Virginia Venture Capital Fund is seeking a driven individual to work as Investment Analyst for its portfolio companies, while working to create economic growth within the State. Primary duties and responsibilities include deal sourcing in conducting initial review of investment prospects and assess deal fit against fund’s investment criteria; visit companies and analyze specific investment opportunities; research markets and develop investment opportunities to Board; work with executives and partners of bans and venture funds to identify deals and opportunities. Selected candidate will exercise due diligence in performing financial and valuation analysis as well as technology and competitor reviews, conducting customer and management reference calls, and negotiating loan and equity terms with portfolio companies. Will provide portfolio company support in evaluating portfolio company’s financial condition, estimating financing requirements, tracking cash flow sources and uses, and serve fund as a Board Director for some of its portfolio companies. Occasional travel is required. Salary is negotiable with experience. Performs related duties as required.
