As a professional co-founder, Rheingau Founders supports entrepreneurs in the creation of digital business models. As one of the most successful European company builders, Rheingau Founders enjoys a strong trust from founders and investors. For example, € 130 million of growth capital has already been invested in Rheingau start-ups and> 650 new jobs have been created in the Berlin Tech ecosystem. As a strategic extension of our co-founding activities, we are currently investing a further fund, Rheingau Capital . This fund will support equity investments of up to € 7 million from external and specially incubated ventures.

YOUR TASKS:
- Portfolio management:
- As a contact for the portfolio companies, you analyze their performance and regularly present the latest developments
- You support the founders in strategic decisions by modeling different scenarios and help you in your own investment reporting
- Investment Management:
- You are actively looking for interesting start-ups in the area of BigData, FinTech and SaaS
- In the case of new investment opportunities, you are responsible for a first screening and present new ideas in the internal circle. Exciting projects are subsequently intensified by you through market analyzes and intensive research
- You will be involved in legal and financial due diligence for upcoming financing rounds
- Investor Relations:
- You create regular reports to the investors and communicate them
- You support us in the preparation and execution of our investor’s day content as well as organizationally
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- First-class Bachelor’s degree in economics or MINT subjects in one of the world’s leading universities
- At least six months of relevant internship experience, for example in venture capital, investment, consulting or start-up environment
- Exceptional interest in the VC / Start-Up ecosystem in Berlin and worldwide
- Excellent analytical skills, especially when dealing with financial ratios
- Structured, well-organized and independent workmanship and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- You usually have a high affinity to tech subjects and good IT knowledge
- Fluent German AND English (written and spoken)
