Openspace Ventures (formerly NSI Ventures) is a venture capital fund investing in early-stage technology companies in Southeast Asia. We have more than US$225 million assets under management from a range of global and regional institutional investors. We are currently deploying capital from its second fund. Our typical investments are at Series A or B stage, where revenue traction is building and capital is required to drive rapid growth. Our existing portfolio covers B2C and B2B technologies who are accessing local, regional and global markets.
Main Job Scope Will Include
The analyst will play an important role supporting the team in all areas of venture capital investing and portfolio management.
Conduct due diligence on start-ups and market research on tech sub-sectors and landscapes
Perform valuation and returns analyses to support investment decisions
Prepare investment documentation and business plans to support the investment process
Prepare pitch decks and other marketing materials to support business development
Identify, meet and screen new start-ups for potential investments
Assist senior members with portfolio management activities
Develop relationships with the start-up community (companies, entrepreneurs, VCs etc.)
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business/Accountancy or related field
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, however candidates with 6 to 18months experience in a VC firm as an analyst will be preferred
Proficiency in financial modelling and building presentation decks
Experience in working with a Series A/B VC fund will be a huge advantage
