We are seeking a financial analyst with M&A and venture capital experience to perform financial modeling and investor presentation support for capital raise and due diligence assignments. The professional stepping into this position would work closely with our firm leadership to create, build and analyze financial models for clients in preparation of a capital transaction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting valuation and bottoms up financial modeling methodologies and will possess strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will be expected to research new and prospective clients and their industries, assist in the creation of tailored pitch decks as well as perform the composition of financial models and analysis. Education
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mathematics, Finance or Accounting Preferred)
Experience
- 3-4+ years of related work experience in corporate finance, financial modeling, investment analysis, M&A transaction support
Position Responsibilities
- Create investor ready pitch decks for Seed, Series A and Series B capital raise
- Produce market and investment research reports
- Compose detailed financial and quantitative analysis
- Provide analytical support for financing transactions
- Corporate valuation and pro forma financial analysis
- Monitoring, data gathering, and interpretation of industry trends
- Assists in the development and composition of appropriate written documentation including tailored pitch decks, valuation reports, financial models and other transaction materials
- Assist in the development and production of proposals, presentations for clients and product and market diligence, forecasting and sensitivity analysis;
- Identify business functional drivers and develop methodologies to support in-depth analysis and decision-making
