VC Analyst @ Lockheed Martin Ventures in Bethesda, MD

Responsiblities
Reporting to the executive director and general manager of Lockheed Martin Ventures, the investment analyst will be responsible for the following

Perform analysis of identified venture opportunities including: Capitalization Tables, Cash Flow, revenue projections
 Initiate Market and Competitive Analysis.
 Review & Understand Term Sheets, MOU, Cap tables.
 Coordinate: IP analysis, compensation, other legal.
 Develop and propose investment scenarios and determine their impact to the venture company and LMT and make recommendations
 Early lead discovery and screening.
 Own dynamic landscape analysis for one or more of the focus areas.

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of company capital and operating structures.
  • Working knowledge of P&L statements, balance sheets
  • Experience with creating and analyzing corporate business plans
  • Technology fluency with financial acumen
  • U.S. Citizen required.

Desired Skills

  • Preferred previous experience in Venture investing. Lead development, corporate analytical methods, project management.
  • Exhibit strong organization and communication skills: written and oral.
  • BS, MS; preferred Science, Engineering or Technology discipline and/or an MBA
