Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market/industry, financial, operational, business and return due diligence on potential investments for Dreamit’s venture funds
- Prepare thorough diligence presentations for Dreamit’s Investment Committee on potential portfolio companies
- Create financial models, including scenario analysis, to support Dreamit’s Investment Team with internal strategy discussions
- Work closely with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate transfer of data for financial statement preparation, including Capital Accounts
- Assist with Limited Partner reports and communications on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis including the calculation of quarterly Fund IRR performance
- Prepare mandated Fund related reporting with third parties, including LPs and government agencies
- Actively manage portfolio data relevant for quarterly portfolio IRR calculations
- Assist Dreamit’s Investment Team on fundraising activity for subsequent venture funds
- Ad hoc projects to support Dreamit’s broader vision
Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience in VC, PE, or investment banking
- Strong interest and/ or experience in technology, startups, and the venture capital ecosystem
- Proven experience and comfort with a variety of high priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills in situations that require accuracy and attention to detail
- Takes initiative to make forward progress on goals without requiring step-by-step direction
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
