Senior Financial Analyst VC Job at Google Capital in Mountain View, CA

When it comes to evaluating a Mergers and Acquisitions opportunity, the M&A Finance team plays a critical role in providing the tool kit for making sound business decisions. Working in close partnership with Legal, Corporate Development and People Operations, this team provides the financial analysis, forecasting and modeling to help decision-makers assess the strengths and risks involved in a given acquisition opportunity. As part of this team, you not only have strong finance and accounting background, but you can harness this knowledge to navigate complex financial issues to find creative solutions. You’re willing to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

Google Capital is a growth-equity fund backed by Google that was started in 2013. We invest in people who are passionate about the potential for technology to change how we live and are rapidly building the companies of tomorrow. We focus on emerging, long-term technology trends and the companies that are leading or are poised to drive disruption in their respective markets by harnessing these technologies. Our sole objective is to create value in our investments by helping teams to accelerate growth while identifying areas where we have learned to actively manage risk.

You will be an integral member of the Google Capital Finance team involved in all financial aspects of the Fund. This is a dynamic role on a small team supporting a new and growing Fund. You will help with agreements, maintaining the Fund’s books, portfolio reporting, and other “back-office” responsibilities. You will help create an efficient and scalable back-office working closely with Google/Alphabet Inc.’s Finance department along with the Google Capital team.
