Located at Grace Lake Corporate Center (GLCC) in Van Buren Twp., Michigan, (near Ann Arbor), the Senior Associate / Manager, Corporate Development will support inorganic transactions for Visteon globally – from idea and business case development to deal execution and post-deal integration. The individual will support the transaction across the deal lifecycle and across the organization, working closely with fellow corporate development team members and staff from finance, legal, sales, tax, HR, engineering, advance tech, and integration, as well as external bankers and professional services firms to build financial/valuation models, complete due diligence, support transaction closings, create KPIs, monitor investments, and support integration planning and execution. The individual will also help in the development of investment strategies and will investigate new markets and competitive landscapes, propose investment ideas, and work with product teams to identify and evaluate potential targets.
Typical Duties:
- Assist in all aspects of the deal lifecycle, including sourcing and targeting, evaluation, initial framing/business case, financial modeling, due diligence, deal execution, investment monitoring, and integration activities
- Create qualitative and quantitative financial models for valuation, forward forecasting, and a broad range of other analytic studies
- Research companies and market trends, estimate total addressable market for the new products/services, analyse competitive dynamics and document findings in various investment memos and profiles, business cases, and reports
- Drive the appropriate diligence on targets within the transaction pipeline
- Identify opportunities to mitigate risk. Escalate issues, as appropriate

Requirements:
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Investment Banking, Venture capital / Private Equity, Corporate development, and/or Management Consulting
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field preferred (e.g., engineering, computer science, math, economics); though B.S. in business with demonstrated experience/interest in technology will also be considered
Desired Competencies/Experience:
- Familiarity with various deal types (M&A, divestitures, VC investment, JVs, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling skills, with experience building pro forma financial models, valuation models and ad hoc analyses to support the investment thesis and decision, and ongoing management/monitoring of the deal. Understanding of accounting, operating metrics, and financial statement analyses commensurate with the creation of financial models and investment analyses
- Understanding of Visteon’s technologies (hardware, software, displays, automotive technologies, infotainment/connected services) and exponential growth technologies (e.g., augmented/virtual reality, artificial intelligence, other advanced technologies), as well as new business models
- Self-starter, results driven with strong attention to detail; excellent problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communications skills, business acumen and work ethic
- Team player who anticipates needs, and is highly accountable
- Fluency with MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Special Requirements:
- Travel as required
