As Portfolio Manager at Breakout Labs you will be responsible for helping the radical science startups that we invest in get the most value possible out of the two year program of support, introductions, resources, partnerships, strategy and community that we offer.
Your goal is to help our portfolio companies accelerate their growth and facilitate the connections between resources providers, strategic partners, venture funders and our portfolio.
Developing new partnerships and managing existing relationships is a big part of the job. There is an active community cheering for BOL success and seeking innovation and you are the hub to design access programs and build our infrastructure to scale for our increasing portfolio and community.
Additionally, we believe that our entrepreneurs have much to learn from other entrepreneurs in our portfolio and your role will be to facilitate those interactions, both online and offline.
We are seeking a seasoned, self-driven, professional with a commitment to helping to build our entrepreneurial ecosystem and ideally relationships of your own to start with.
The ideal candidate will have wide interests in science and business, philanthropy and investing….be comfortable both creating new ideas and executing them successfully….be self-aware, communicate clearly, take feedback well, and are able to embrace change, tolerate ambiguity, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
