leave a comment »

OpenView Venture Partners in Boston is looking for a partner-track associate. OpenView invests in expansion-stage software businesses, and helps them grow through its operational support team called OpenView Labs (nearly 20 people strong today). The firm is known for its laser focus, sector expertise, operational DNA, and pervasive content which serves the portfolio, prospects and the broader software community.

You get to focus on the exciting aspects of VC life – chasing, evaluating and winning deals. You’ll be joining a 14-person investment team that includes seasoned technology operators and veteran venture capitalists. Multiple individuals on the team have been promoted to Partner coming from the Associate track. The environment is creative and community-driven, with a core focus on impact. Unlike larger firms, responsibility and leadership opportunities are delegated across teams and individuals. As an Associate, you will also be working closely with OpenView’s operational support team to help win deals and build great companies post-investment.

The firm has invested in NYC-based companies like Datadog, VTS, FieldLens, and Signpost. Outside of NYC the firm is an investor in Instructure, Expensify, Workfront, Monetate, Spredfast, Socrata, Pantheon, UserTesting, and many others.

If you’re interested in learning more, they are eager to speak with you. Please contact Baiyin @ bzhou@openviewpartners.com.
