Arconic Ventures (AV) is the corporate venture capital unit of Arconic Inc (NYSE: ARNC). AV is focused on investing in early stage (Seed, Series A, Series B) companies that are strategically relevant to Arconic’s various business and corporate strategic priorities. Our current focus areas include advanced materials and manufacturing technologies such as Additive Manufacturing, Novel/Disruptive Materials, Big Data and Analytics (including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), and Industrial Automation (both hardware and software innovations).
The AV team is looking for a highly driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for innovation, and an interest in technologies that will transform the future of manufacturing (a.k.a. “Industry 4.0”). This individual will play a key role in identifying and executing startup investment opportunities as they engage founders, investors, incubators, accelerators, government agencies, and university labs. They must be able to thrive in an open, entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively with the broader Arconic organization that includes a range of business units and technical communities.
