Where the Chemistry Happens…
BVC works as the corporate venture capital arm of BASF Group and contributes to the Operating Divisions and Research & Development strategies by offering Window-on-Technology via identification of disruptive technologies in the start-up field. BVC initiates strategic projects/acquisitions with startup companies and performs equity investments in start-up companies. The main source for finding interesting target is a deep network within the VC industry and related institutions. The BVC portfolio is managed primarily via board seats in these companies. One team member of BVC is responsible primarily for US/East Coast.
