Connect Ventures is a London-based VC firm. We invest in seed-stage product and UX-focused European tech startups. We’ve spent our careers as founders or investors or operators in the US and European tech and venture space. Our experiences led us to found Connect in 2012 and we now have a portfolio of 30 (and growing) active companies.
We’re interested in quality and long-term value creation so we’re singularly focused on founders who are passionate about product. For us, the crucial condition for a successful and scalable business is having a product made with love, and loved by many, at its heart.
This exciting new role would best suit someone who enjoys working in a candid, combative yet collaborative environment. We’re more than close to the founders we back – we’re collaborators, co-conspirators and community. We think the most valuable commodity is founders’ time and want to do more to help them go from 0-100 as quickly as possible, which is why we’re hiring a Head of Founder Network.
We’ve found that our portfolio companies learn loads from each other – many are at a similar stage facing similar problems – so the HoFN’s main role is to foster connections between the founders and build a knowledge base of best practices across the portfolio.
This is a 2-year role because we’re looking for someone that wants to undertake a tour of duty with us before moving on to their next challenge.
