Requirements:
- Strong academic performance at a top university
- MBA is not required
- 2-3 years of consulting or investment banking experience at top firms
- 1-2 years of technology growth equity investment experience (for Sr Associate role)
- Understanding of and excitement about technology (e.g. engineering degree, technology
- investment experience, working with TMT clients as consultant or i-banker), ideally including knowledge of enterprise software and financial technology
Skills:
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Build financial models
- Perform valuation & comparable analysis
- Conduct market and competitive research
- Evaluate key business drivers (e.g. unit economics)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Author investment memoranda
- Present deal opportunities to General Partners and AXA executives
- Aptitude for sourcing deals
- Drive and perseverance to identify investment opportunities and engage CEOs
- Sell the ASV value proposition to CEOs and other investors
- Interpersonal skills required to build and cultivate relationships with CEOs
- Strategic thinker
- Analyze investment opportunities and make recommendations to General Partners
- Formulate investment theses and create market maps to drive sourcing efforts
- Mature, professional personality
- Can effectively represent ASV in the marketplace and within AXA
- Self-starter
