FundersClub is the premier online venture capital firm, targeting early investment in the world’s most promising tech startups. We help founders disrupt their industries with the capital and value add of our community, while democratizing investing in top startups for investors.
Incubated by Y Combinator and backed by top VCs like First Round Capital and angel investors like Chris Dixon (Partner, Andreessen Horowitz), we are disrupting venture capital by combining software and networks of people to better discover, fund, and support the world’s most promising entrepreneurs.
In our first 3.5 years, we have funded and supported over 150 top startups. They have gone on to build >$8B of enterprise value and raise >$800M of follow-on capital, including rounds led by other top VCs like Sequoia Capital (e.g. Instacart, ZoomCar), Andreessen Horowitz (e.g. Coinbase, Teespring), and First Round Capital (e.g. Moveloot). Meanwhile, an investor investing equally across FundersClub would have generated an unrealized net IRR of 63.8% as of our 3-year anniversary.
Our goal is to support companies from seed stage through acquisition or IPO. Eight have had exits to date (including TalentBin, acquired by NYSE:MWW, ScreenHero, acquired by Slack, and Parklet, acquired by Greenhouse). We have also built a vibrant community of >16,000 investors and hundreds of top entrepreneurs, and lead in startup investing and operating education.
Our work impacts millions of individuals worldwide, and we’ve created an environment and culture for tackling immense and challenging problems. FundersClub’s own founders are successful entrepreneurs who have previously raised capital, built teams and companies, exited, and invested in dozens of high-growth startups. Our team includes early veterans of successful tech startups, established companies like Google and McKinsey, top financial firms, and premier academic institutions like MIT, Wharton, Princeton, and Penn. Our extended team includes a cross section of some of the best VC investors including First Round Capital, Draper, Spark Capital, Y Combinator, Andreessen Horowitz, Intel Capital, and others.
