CSC Venture Capital is the newly formed U.S. venture capital operations of CSC Group, one of the largest private equity investment managers in China. We focus on investing in American startups, with heavy focus on Silicon Valley / SF. CSC recently announced a $400M fund commitment to invest in companies on AngelList, with which it has struck a close strategic partnership. Beyond AngelList, CSC Venture Capital is actively investing in early to growth stage companies, and likely will invest $500M – $1B in the U.S. market over the next 5-10 years.
Come join a new, small (2 partners) but growing venture capital firm as our first investment staff hire. Job scope encompasses the full range of venture capital investment activity. Given the small size of our firm, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and take on as much responsibility as you are able to.
The right candidate is well plugged into the entrepreneurial community, and has a strong grasp of how startups work. This candidate does not mind taking direction while supporting the partners, but at the same time is comfortable taking initiative and getting things done independently. He or she enjoys connecting with people and has a solid and growing set of relationships with influencers in the startup ecosystem.
