Metis Capital is seeking an analyst to be based in Palo Alto, CA. Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
Experience:
- Passionate about the venture ecosystem
- Comfortable in an outward facing role
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience managing and updating websites
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a venture capital or investment banking role (or similar capacity)
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred
Responsibilities:
- Proactively meet with early-stage startups and source advisory deals
- Broaden the firm’s network of emerging fund managers in SF, LA and NY
- Produce a weekly blog post targeting family offices
- Produce content to position the firm as a thought leader
- Construct and manage the firm’s website
- Be the relationship manager with our strategic partner
- Monitor the firm’s venture assets
- Assist with other projects as required
