VC Associate @ Tola Capital in Seattle, WA

Tola Capital was founded on the principle that how the world will work depends on software and our team is committed to finding and investing in founders to fulfill that vision. Tola’s culture and business is driven by the diverse lived experiences and strengths of our team, allowing us to add value to our portfolio companies. Tola was founded in 2010 and is based in Seattle, WA. Over the last decade, Tola has invested in 25+ companies with half a billion dollars under management.

Our growing portfolio of early-stage enterprise software companies tackle hard problems in all layers of the stack – from cloud and Web3 infrastructure, to developer tools, to horizontal and verticals apps. Our investments are global as we think great software can be built anywhere and we have backed great founders who are changing industries and ways that software is built, including companies like Clipchamp, Pulumi, and Robin.

We are smart, motivated self-starters who are comfortable wearing a range of hats and who can excel across the board, from strategic hypothesis brainstorming, to product roadmap evaluation, to meeting and working with senior executives at target companies. We are looking for candidates who fit this mold, with technical, product, and operational backgrounds in enterprise software. Our unique investment strategy provides a hands-on partnership with our portfolio companies and their founders; and we prioritize passion for, and experience in, the software sector.

Candidates may not necessarily have prior deep knowledge about venture capital, but are excited about b2b technology startups, eager to learn and be mentored to learn the business, and capable of identifying opportunities and engaging with founders. We place great value on personal development and provide extensive support for personal and professional growth.
