We are looking for an investment professional to join the Notion team to build deal flow and source investment opportunities in B2B Tech businesses from late Seed to Series B in Europe, as well as manage ongoing relationships with our portfolio companies. Key responsibilities include:
- Contribution to all aspects of deal flow from sourcing, screening and evaluating new investment opportunities to assisting with due diligence, deal execution and closing deals
- Analysis of follow-on investments
- Mapping and researching B2B Tech verticals across target geographies to identify attractive markets
- Building a data-driven approach to managing our network, deal flow and due diligence initiatives
- Meeting and networking with exceptional entrepreneurs and attending leading industry events
- Being responsible for covering one or several territories across Europe e.g. France or Southern Europe
- Leading small investments in high-potential companies, helping you build your investment pedigree
- Supporting existing portfolio companies alongside Notion’s Platform team
Requirements
- Extensive understanding of, and passion for, B2B Tech trends
- We are looking for 2 Associates; one of the Associates must speak fluent French and the other must have a technical background relevant to B2B SaaS.
- 1+ years of experience as an investor in a venture capital role
- Strong reputation and broad connections to the European startup and investment ecosystems
- Advanced analytical skills – both strategic and numerical
- Excellent communicator with ability to articulate ideas accurately and concisely
- Humble, empathetic attitude
- Curious and motivated self-starter
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technology inside sales preferred but not necessary
