We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of healthcare to join our strategic investment team. This role will support all stages of our investment process, including the development of strategic investment themes, market landscaping and other research.
Responsibilities:
Deal Sourcing and Pipeline
Maintain a data-driven process for managing our deal pipeline
Assist in initial outreach, data gathering/assessment and establishing relationships with founders
Work closely with investment team to develop insights and hypotheses around areas of healthcare by conducting market, product, customer, and financial research and analysis
Due Diligence
Support deal team in all diligence efforts:
Organize information from target companies and internal/external experts
Conduct primary and secondary market research
Perform rigorous financial and valuation analysis
Draft internal investment memos
Qualifications:
Proactive, self-starter with ability to successfully operate at multiple levels of management
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to quickly gather and synthesize information, draw appropriate conclusions, and make value-added recommendations
Familiarity with clinical, operational, and financial drivers of healthcare industry and organizations
Problem-solver, quantitative/qualitative analysis skills, including financial modeling and valuation techniques
2-5 years professional experience, ideally with exposure to the healthcare industry, consulting, venture capital, and/or investment banking
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s level degree or similar experience highly preferred
