VC Analyst @ Btov in Berlin, Germany

Build relationships with the members of btov’s Private Investor Network, understand their investment preferences and communicate potential investment opportunities
Collaborate with btov’s Industrial Tech Fund team and the Private Investor Network to screen and analyse new Industrial Tech start-ups
Conduct industry research and develop new investment hypotheses
Manage investment processes for new and follow-on transactions, ranging from due diligence activities, terms negotiations to signing a syndicate from btov’s network
Work on initiatives to further strengthen the Private Investor Network community, e.g. through new event formats and collaboration tools
Support portfolio management, including attendance of shareholder meetings, fund reporting, fundraising and operational/administrative support

You combine an extraordinary ability to communicate, network, and build relationships with analytical skills and attention to detail
You have a strong passion for Industrial Tech and a willingness to deep-dive into topics such as Robotics, Additive Manufacturing and IIoT
You have a degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a similar field with an outstanding academic track record
You have up to two years of work experience or completed several internships, ideally in entrepreneurial environments (in a start-up, VC, tech company or similar)
You are a self-starter, able to work independently, and take ownership
You thrive when working on different projects simultaneously
You are a team player with a strong work ethic, humility, can-do attitude, and a collaborative mindset
You are fluent in spoken and written German and English, a third language is a plus

Thirdly, we will invite you to our offices so you can meet everyone in person and see where you will be working
