AXA Venture Partners (AVP) is a global venture capital firm investing in high-growth technology companies across enterprise software, fintech, digital health, and consumer sectors. Founded in 2016, AVP has built a unique platform specialized in technology investments with >$1.0B AUM among three core strategies: early stage, growth stage, and funds of funds. AVP has invested in more than 45 companies and 15 funds to date. The AVP team operates globally, with offices in New York, San Francisco, London, Paris, and Singapore.

Analyst Program

AVP is looking for analysts to join our US investment team, based in New York. The analysts will participate in a two-year program, during which they will primarily help the team source, execute, and monitor investments across both the early and growth stages.

Responsibilities include:

– Supporting the team across the entire investment process, from opportunity sourcing through due diligence and closing

– Assisting with due diligence work in all areas, including market sizing, competitive analysis,

technical diligence, and financial analysis

– Helping prepare materials for team meetings and investment committee discussions

– Sourcing new investment opportunities

– Performing monitoring and support tasks for existing portfolio companies

– Conducting industry research and developing market maps for categories of interest

– Contributing to firm-building initiatives

The ideal analyst would have the following characteristics and qualifications:

– 6-12 months of full-time work experience in a relevant field (e.g. investment banking, consulting, investing, or sales & marketing / operations / strategy / finance at a company)

– Experience evaluating businesses and thinking critically about investments

– Interest in technology, particularly within AVP’s four core focus areas

– Intellectual curiosity, demonstrated work ethic, and attention to detail

– Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

– Excellent oral and written communication skills

– Strong interpersonal skills – someone who is excited to collaborate with and contribute to a

growing team of investment professionals
