Senior VC Analyst @ Wasson Enterprise in Remote

The Sr. Analyst / Associate will leverage their skill set to assist in deliverables related to industry research, help in the creation of a systematic due diligence process, provide due diligence support aid in materials preparation for investor relations. This role will report to the Chief Administrative Officer of Foresight Acquisition Corporation and Vice President, Strategy & Development of Wasson Enterprise.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

This role will focus in the two following areas: 

Research, Analysis & Due Diligence

  • Analyze economic, market and competitive data and communicate key information and implications to broader team
  • Help to identify, analyze and present new investment opportunities in alignment with the Foresight strategy / thesis
  • Build financial models based on company provided information as well as team inputs
  • Analyzes past and present financial data of investment opportunities
  • Organize deal activity and streamline work processes
  • Create and work to monitor activity and key developments in broader debt and equity markets
  • Stay up to date on SPAC market trends as well as new SPAC launches
  • Ideate on methodologies to improve systematic due diligence process to screen high volume of potential opportunities

Investor Relations

  • Communicate Foresight’s value proposition and progress to date as well as provide updates on key opportunities (ie investor presentations and updates)

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, accounting or experience in a related field of investments. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate development or VC/PE
  • Excellent finance and accounting skills
  • Must be a critical thinker and possess rigorous analytical capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize workload, must be highly organized, detail-oriented, handle various tasks simultaneously and work independently within limited time constraints
  • Demonstrates respectful behavior and promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative and customer focused, startup work environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and complex information with discretion 
  • Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior experience sourcing and closing on investments or acquisitions
  • Prior experience within healthcare and/or consumer industries
  • Demonstrated familiarity and interest in the technology entrepreneurial community, specifically in high-growth consumer businesses
  • Master’s degree in business administration or related fiel
