Position: VP/AVP, AI POD
Location: US / San Francisco
Core functions:
- Identifying target sectors and assessing investment opportunities in high growth companies with the potential Product-Market-Fit to scale and differentiate by harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)
- Assisting with building and scaling new ventures, as well as execute potential joint ventures and strategic partnerships
- Originating, evaluating, leading due diligence, financial modelling, drafting of investment papers, co-ordination of internal approval processes and finalisation of legal documentation in transaction processes
- Monitoring the performance of portfolio companies and identify potential organic and inorganic value creation opportunities
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with existing companies, corporate/venture fund partners and other relevant institutions
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders in carrying out investment activities
Qualifications/Capabilities:
- At least 4-6 years working experience with a venture capital firm/top-tier investment banking/M&A/strategy consulting firm with exposure to the technology space, relevant investment experience and financial analysis skillset
- Preferably with experience in Product related roles in start-ups/ventures addressing market gaps that were fulfilled with AI/ML related Product offerings
- Able to work well within diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
- Excellent academic credentials with strong analytical abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Salary Range: Base salary of US$220K – US$270K per annum (compensation structure includes various additional incentives payable in April, August and October annually)
