ABOUT INTELLIGENCE VENTURES
Intelligence Ventures is a venture capital firm that invests in and supports pre-seed, seed, and series A companies operating in the US. Our first fund, AI Health Fund I, is focused on companies that use artificial intelligence to solve inefficiencies in biotech, pharma, medtech, and diagnostics. We are building a team of strong scientific personnel (MDs, PhDs, and biopharma executives) along with industry leading tech experts (Fortune 500 AI experts) to identify and invest in the future of healthcare.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The introduction of AI into healthcare workflows, from drug development to patient care, is the biggest catalyst of this century. Joining Intelligence Ventures as a Venture Partner puts you on the cutting edge of innovation, interacting with the startups shaping the health system of tomorrow. This is a senior, part-time position. The Venture Partner will contribute 10 – 15 hours per month across a variety of workflows, including meeting with current and prospective portfolio companies, supporting the Managing Director with fund operations, and interacting with Limited Partners (LP).
ABOUT YOU
- This isn’t your first rodeo. You’ve been in the VC game for some time, and have experience starting a fund from scratch.
- Your investment track record? It speaks for itself.
- You’re familiar with traditional Venture Capital models and have evaluated and invested in early-stage companies.
- You understand the trials and tribulations of building startups across a variety of macroeconomic cycles.
- You have a knack for reading people. You can smell BS from a mile away, and aren’t afraid to call people out on it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source prospective portfolio companies building cutting edge innovations at the intersection of AI and healthcare.
- Conduct due diligence.
- Support the Managing Director with fund operations, including reporting, portfolio development, and fund administration.
- Share Intelligence Ventures with your network and facilitate introductions.
- Join the Managing Director in meeting with prospective LPs as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Entrepreneurial Nature
- 5+ years of previous VC experience
- Knowledge of AI systems and architecture preferred
- Experience in medical device, biopharma, or healthcare environment preferred
- This role is remote
