Investment Team Intern, Greylock       

Greylock is a venture capital firm headquartered in Silicon Valley that backs entrepreneurs who are building disruptive, market-transforming consumer and enterprise software companies. We invest early in companies that define new markets, including Airbnb (NYSE: ABNB), Aurora (Nasdaq: AUR); AppDynamics, Coinbase (NYSE: Coin), Discord, Dropbox, Facebook (Nasdaq: FB), Figma, LinkedIn, Instagram, Nextdoor (NYSE: KIND), Okta (NASDAQ: OKTA), Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW), Roblox (NYSE: Roblox), Rubrik,  Redfin (NASDAQ: RDFN) and Workday (NYSE: WDAY).

Manager: Asheem Chandna, in close collaboration with the investment associates.

Potential Focus Areas (intern will choose and focus on one of these areas): (1) Cloud Infrastructure, (2) Cybersecurity, or (3) SaaS Applications.


  • Complete sector-specific deep dives and map out investment opportunities
  • Create market maps and lead competitive landscape research 
  • Contribute to due diligence on potential investments (e.g. call customers, talk with company’s references) 
  • Support investment associates on projects such as sourcing, event organization, people mapping, etc.
  • Work with early stage portfolio companies on time-sensitive projects as needed

Logistics: The internship will be in person, based in the Bay Area (choice of San Francisco or Menlo Park). The internship will span 10 to 12 weeks, with exact dates to be determined from May to August 2023. Compensation: $10,000 monthly.
