📍 Location – Amsterdam – Hybrid approach – occasional foreign travel might be required
📅 Start Date: September 2023 for a 6 month period
💰Compensation: EUR 600/month + expenses
Are you ready to embark on an exciting venture capital journey?
We are seeking a talented and driven Venture Capital Intern to join our Fortino Venture team in Amsterdam. 🌟
🌱As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a 100M+ fund 💸, investing in high-potential startups across Europe at the Seed and Series A stages.
You will help support or drive a broad range of activities which can include:
- 🔍Discover Promising Investment Opportunities: Utilize automation tools, conduct desk research, network with founders and investors, and attend events to proactively source potential investment opportunities.
- 🌐Evaluate Inbound Deal Flow: Assess and analyze incoming deal flow, contributing to the investment decision-making process.
- 💼Support Due Diligence and Market Research📊: Provide valuable support during due diligence processes, conduct reference calls, conduct market research, and prepare materials to facilitate investment decision-making.
- 🙌 Engage with Portfolio Companies: Collaborate with our existing portfolio companies and the Fortino Portfolio Community on various projects and initiatives.
- 📣 Contribute to Marketing and Events: Get involved in marketing initiatives and assist in organizing events to promote our brand and expand our network.

About You:

- 💡Passion for Startups and Venture Capital: You have a genuine interest in startups, venture capital, and a deep understanding of the software, SaaS, and Cloud markets.
- Tech-Savvy: You possess a technical background, such as computer science, data science/AI, or business informatics, enabling you to leverage your skills in your work.
🎓Education: You’ve either finished or in final stages of a BA or Msc degree, in business, technical or finance. You will be registered at an accredited university or relevant educational institute during the internship.
🌍 Languages: Good working level of English. Dutch, French and/or German is a valuable addition.
⏰ 6-month commitment, minimum 32 hours/week
