Role and Responsibilities

OpenView is seeking a Finance Intern who will work closely with the Fund Accounting Team. This person will be responsible for administrative items relating to the investment activities and required reporting of the funds.

The Finance Intern will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring appropriate expense reimbursement to employees
  • Pulling bank statements
  • Reconciling bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and corporate credit cards
  • Helping with accounts receivable and account payables
  • Tracking daily cash activity
  • Rolling and refreshing reporting workbooks
  • Building Formstack forms
  • Managing mail merges, PDF converting, and formatting
  • Monitoring investor inbox
  • Helping with updating investor data portal
  • Assisting with monthly close cycles

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Consistent and precise attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and team‐player attitude
  • Able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic organization that values continuous rapid improvement
  • 40 hour work week preferred, open to part-time
  • Preferred hybrid with 3-4 days per week in office
  • Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
