Portal Innovations is a venture capital firm investing in life sciences startups developing novel therapeutics, diagnostics, and medical devices. We provide seed stage capital, fully equipped incubator lab space, and management expertise to early-stage companies.
Fellows will work with Portal’s Venture Operations team to conduct due diligence on biotech companies entering Portal’s orbit. Over the course of the fellowship, fellows will learn Portal’s methodology for conducting due diligence by exploring the scientific, clinical, regulatory, and market context of each. Fellows will present their findings to the rest of the team during weekly meetings. Fellows will also work on developing a perspective on a topic of interest to Portal related to life sciences innovation (e.g. immuno-oncology, undruggable targets). Fellows will be paid for their time.
