ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an Investment Associate to play an active role in the end-to-end investment process, including opportunity origination, deal execution, supporting portfolio company growth, and asset management through to exit.
At Wollemi, you will develop expertise in the transition to net zero and will be a partner to potential and current portfolio company teams to unlock pathways to a global scale. You will play an active role in capitalizing the structural transformation of the global economy and will directly contribute to the success of Wollemi and the climate solutions and portfolio companies we support. You will work with a highly motivated, mission-oriented team of investors. Wollemi’s mandate, corporate structure, and flexible capital enable us to pursue unique opportunities and create a diverse set of investment experiences and a superior learning environment and career trajectory. A successful candidate will be dogged in their commitment to and pursuit of scaling climate impact and superior financial returns.

QUALIFICATIONS
● Minimum 2-4 years’ experience at, or the equivalent of, a top-tier investment firm, investment bank or management consulting firm.
● Experience with private equity, M&A, venture capital, infrastructure or project finance transactions.
● Demonstrated top-tier performance and impact in previous roles, including strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities, financial literacy, modeling expertise, and strong oral and written (word, PowerPoint) communication skills.
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and work collaboratively inside and outside the organization at all levels.
● Passion for climate and sustainability.
● Expertise in the climate challenge or industry experience as an investor, advisor, or operator in food and agriculture, energy transition, or climate services is preferred but not required.

Employees will be covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive four weeks of vacation leave every year, eleven paid holidays throughout the calendar year and all other benefits required by applicable law.
