About the job
● Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
● Ideally 2 years of work experience post undergraduate school, preferably within an analyst program at an investment banking firm or a top management consulting firm or with a technology company
● Strong academic performance and an undergraduate degree from a top institution
● Excellent analytical acumen with a financial background and demonstrated ability to work with financials and large data sets to build complex financial models
● Ability and desire to work with early-stage companies and start-ups, especially with Seed or Series A stage startups and a clear passion to build a career within the technology industry
● Strong presentation and communication skills coupled with the maturity to work with Founders, CEOs, CFOs, other VCs, lawyers etc.
● Outstanding written skills and ability to write compelling investment memos, generate investment theses and distill communication with portfolio companies and investors
● Comfortable with outbound marketing and networking, developing contacts, and generating deal flow for the fund
● High integrity and a self-starter that is able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that requires one to be proactive, independent and organized
