Shields Capital
Shields Capital is an entrepreneurial capital platform dedicated to launching, building, and scaling sustainable, next-generation healthcare companies in partnership with championship teams. Following the lead of our CEO Jack Shields, a 40+ year healthcare entrepreneur, our platform combines a hands-on operational approach to company building with long-term, flexible capital. We partner with our national network of healthcare enterprises to identify high-stakes problems and co-develop solutions we can grow into successful companies.
Our track record of de novo companies includes the nation’s leading specialty pharmacy integrator, New England’s largest outpatient imaging provider, a rapidly scaling Medicare Advantage payvider, and a cutting edge home-based care logistics platform. In addition to these homegrown businesses, we pursue long-term strategic and investment partnerships with like-minded early-stage entrepreneurs.
