Transition V.C. is India’s 1st Energy Focused venture capital fund. Over the next three years, we will invest seed capital in 40 DeepTech start-ups solving real-life problems in Clean Energy (alternate fuels), Decarbonization & Net Zero Journey. Roles & Responsibilities: – Analyst / Associate

Conducting industry, market, and company-specific research and investment opportunities in various industries/niches- Responsible for preparing deal-related materials, including pitch books, teasers, confidential information memorandums, and management presentations.

Deal with sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities

Deal evaluation- Investment & decision analysis- Start-up valuation

Preparing Investment Memo for Investment committee presentation

Term sheet drafting & negotiations- Assist in legal & financial diligence

Maintaining deal pipeline- Periodic portfolio monitoring

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech). Preferably mechanical/ electrical/ Electronics.

Work Experience:

2-4 years of experience in the Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrials / Energy sector or Investment Banking / Venture capital Industry. Prefer candidates from Engineering or Deep Technology start-ups who have worked in Technology / Product Development / Design/ Research & development functions.

Skills: Require proficiency in M.S. Office applications, especially in Excel & PowerPoint; Data analysis, excellent research, written & communication skills

Knowledge: Good understanding of the sectors and technologies matching TVC Investment mandate, business model understanding & analysis, and Industry research.

Expected CTC: Up to 18 L pa + Carry / other deals linked to performance incentives
