We are seeking an Investment Analyst to join M13’s investment team. Our ideal candidate will bring at least two years of investment banking or management consulting experience and zeal for supporting a team of senior investors. They will leverage their financial analysis expertise to own the quantitative due diligence process, historical and projected financials, and underwriting of deals.
The M13 investment team is deploying out of our $400M Fund III. The fund focuses on early-stage consumer technology—specifically in the future of commerce, health, money, and work- including how web3 powers these sectors. We invest at the Seed, Series A, and Series B stages.
What you’ll be doing:

- Quantitative analysis, including company financials, cohort analysis, market sizing, LTV/CAC, and unit economics
- Create financial models and projections
- Building underwriting and return models
- Company and competitor research
- Writing investment memos
- Supporting senior members of the investment team
What you bring to the role:

- Two years+ of experience in investment banking or management consulting
- You are organized and known for your world-class follow-through skills
- A data-driven approach and point of view. You enjoy and use data and your financial prowess to influence your point of view; you are comfortable communicating; you have a strong desire to work with a team of investors to play a critical role in all deals
- Enthusiasm for financial modeling and knack for using your financial data to tell stories and influence our investment decisions

- Investment in Your Future: The Salary range for this position is $110K – 130K. Actual compensation within this range will depend upon the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and level of impact in the role. Employees are also eligible for an Employee Profit Sharing Program and 401(k) Retirement Plan with matching for all employees.
