High Tech Grunderfonds
For our team , we are looking for a full-time Junior Analyst in the Industrial Tech Investment area from July 2022 at our Bonn location (with the opportunity to work up to 50% remotely).
WHAT SHE EXPECTS
You are part of the team and support the investment managers in evaluating companies from the industrial tech environment in all stages of the investment process (sourcing to closing):
- Processing of the deal flow including identification, analysis and evaluation of innovative business models and technologies
- Support in deal acquisition and research as part of active sourcing
- Participation in, preparation and follow-up of appointments and pitches with entrepreneurs
- Support in due diligence for potential new investments, in particular carrying out research and reference discussions on the market, competition, technologies as well as trends and product tests in close cooperation with the responsible deal team
- Preparation and participation in fund investment committee meetings
- Representation of the HTGF at selected start-up events
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have successfully completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or economics subject and also have the following qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for innovation, new technologies and entrepreneurship
- Start-up affinity and initial experience in a start-up or in the tasks described (e.g. in business development, consulting or private equity)
- Confident use of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of German and good English
- Quick learner and good analytical skills
- Independent and goal-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, a high degree of initiative and fun working in a dynamic environment
