AT EARLYBIRD, YOUR PROJECTS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND TASKS WILL LIKELY INCLUDE:
  • Working on deals with the Earlybird-X investment team and taking responsibility for sourcing, initial deal assessments, preparing investment decisions, and managing the subsequent due diligences
  • Conducting deep dives in different industries and technologies
  • Helping the Earlybird-X team build a presence in the French-speaking startup and VC ecosystem
  • Actively supporting our portfolio companies
WHAT WE HOPE YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
  • Excellent academic track record in a STEM field
  • Hands-on experience in a DeepTech startup and/or in a Tech focused VC (early- stage preferred)
  • Analytical rigor, business acumen, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence skills allow you to source deals in the space, understand the technologies, thought-partner with founders, and help guide our investments to success
  • An existing network within the French startup ecosystem
  • Passion for the European startup ecosystem plus a solid understanding of the venture capital industry
  • Willingness to travel within France and between Berlin and Paris
  • Fluency in French
  • EU Work authorization
