C2 Capital Partners is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join its investment team.
As an Investment Analyst, the candidate will play a relevant role in the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a junior analyst to gain hands-on experience in the private equity industry and contribute to C2 funds’ growth and success.

Responsibilities
Investment Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence, to evaluate potential investment opportunities
- Assist in preparing investment memorandums, investment committee presentations, and other documentation for investment decision-making
- Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor analysis to support investment thesis
Due Dilligence
- Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing relevant data, conducting market research, and assessing risks and opportunities
- Assist in coordinating and managing due diligence activities with external advisors and internal stakeholders
Financial Modeling and Valuation
- Conduct valuation analysis using various methodologies, such as discounted cash flow (DCF) and comparable company analysis
- Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of various factors on investment outcomes
Investment Monitoring and Reporting
- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies, tracking financial results and operational metrics
- Prepare regular performance reports and updates for internal stakeholders
Market Research and Deal Origination
- Conduct market research to identify potential investment opportunities
- Assist in deal origination efforts by evaluating investment prospects, conducting initial screenings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, investment banking, or related roles
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong research and data analysis skills, with the ability to gather and interpret relevant information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of the private equity industry and familiarity with buyout transactions is a plus
